The Sunset Inn is located at the beginning of town. Mission Street is Highway 1 - but fortunately a city street – we are not located on a freeway. The crashing surf is just 5 blocks away. The hotel lies directly between the two roads that go up to the University of California, providing easy access from Western Drive, or Bay Street – only 5 minutes to the school. Just a few blocks away is a corporate cluster including Long’s Marine Laboratory and the National Marine Fisheries site, NOAA.
